My inner thighs, near to my private parts are a darker shade than the rest of my body. My armpits are also the same colour. It is very ugly and I would like to know how to get rid of this discolouration. I scrub my whole body weekly especially those darkened areas but with no improvement. I am in a serious relationship with my partner and he wants to see me with the lights on!
You have hyperpigmentation over the areas that you have mentioned. This is often the case in people whose skin is not so fair. I am sorry to say that there is no medication to remove this hyperpigmentation.

I have been having this terrible smell from my mouth for about six months. I have visited many doctors, and they kept telling me that they do not notice any smell. The odour comes from my mouth and nose. I would appreciate if you have any idea what this problem could be.
Bad odour from the mouth usuallly comes from dental causes or from food stuck between the teeth. You should visit your dentist to exclude any dental carries. You should also drink plenty of water (at least 8 glasses per day) and brush your teeth after every meal or whenever you have eaten some food.

I have grown fat and I need to reduce my weight. Can you please give me some advice on what to do to slim down?
The best method to reduce weight would be to reduce your intake of fat and carbohydrates, and to engage in regular exercise to "burn away" your body fat.

I see from your email address that you are most likely of Indian origin. I understand that most Indian families have their evening meal very late some even after 9.00pm. This is not good if one intends to stay slim and trim. It would be good if you could eat earlier by 7.30pm at the latest and then do not sleep for at least two hours.

An after dinner walk would also be good if you are working full time. Perhaps you should consider joining a gym or working out at home at least 3 times per week for a minimum of one half an hour. This will help to burn up some calories.

You need to cut down on rice and chapatis and eat more white meat, fish, and vegetables as well as fruits. Consider 5servings the size of a rice bowl of vegetables and fruits daily.

Consultation with a dietician would be helpful in planning a low calorie diet.

I have good dental hygiene and visit the dentist regularly, but the bad breath will not go away. I do not think halitosis is the cause of the problem, so what is the cause of my bad breath?
If you have already excluded dental care as a cause for the Halitosis, the other possible reasons are fermentation of food particles in the mouth or even from systemic diseases affecting the liver or lungs. Seeing a medical doctor is the next stop to resolving your problem.
