CANCER TREATMENT - A POSITIVE STEP FORWARD

LASIK SURGERY
Being spectacle-bound for the past 12 years of my life had not changed my opinion of it; I still found spectacles cumbersome and inconvenient, having them fogged when I alight from an air-con bus or sliding down my nose when I exercise.
HIV ANTIBODY TEST

Would you know what "Arthral Grade A" means?....
I saw this written beside my son's x-ray results.
I am sorry but I cannot help you. It would be helpful if you could tell me more about why the x-ray was done and the full report of the x-ray.

I'm having a problem with my platelet count. It is only 133.000 per cmm. Before this, it was140.000 per cmm. My coagulation factors are normal.
What's should I do ?

The normal platelet count is from 150 - 400,000 per cmm. Your platelets are only marginally lower than the normal range. I would not worry about the small difference in the two platelet counts.

However, if you are still worried, then you should consult a Consultant Haemagologist.

Yes, a stain on a cloth can be tested to find out whether the stain is semen or not.

After six months on strict diet, my lipid test shows:

Total cholesterol 6.8, HDL 1.32, LDL 4.9, Triglycerides 1.2 and Total/HDL ratio 5.2. Presently, I am taking Kerlone 10mg daily for my high blood pressure which is under control. Readings 125/80. I am 45 years old.

Please advise whether I should go on medication or try for another six months on strict diet.
Your Low Density Lipoprotein Level (LDL) is high in spite of being on a strict diet for six months. I would suggest that you should see your doctor with a view to starting on medication.
